Welcome to BestClass, a registration platform for seminars, workshops and events. Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and make use of your personal information and our legal basis for doing so. It also covers your rights and choices regarding the information you provide us. The following outlines our Privacy Policy.


About Us

We are Best Class Inc. (“BestClass”, “us”, “we”, or “our”), a New York corporation with our principal office in New York, NY. We provide participants (“you”, “your”) access to a platform on which you may find, learn about, and register for seminars, workshops and events via the BestClass website (www.us1-bestclass.co) (the “Site”) and/or any other web property, platform or media through which we make such services available from time to time (collectively, the “Services”)


About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) informs you of BestClass’s policies and practices regarding the collection and use of information you submit directly to us, or to a third party with which we associate or collect about you through our Services, and to inform you of options that allow you to control or restrict the availability and use of your information. Wherever you reside or from whichever country you submit your information, by using BestClass Services, you consent to our use of your information, consistent with this Privacy Policy, whether in the United States or in other territories where BestClass may provide its Services.


Changes to this Privacy Policy

By accessing the Services, you are acknowledging that you have agreed to our Terms of Use and that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and review, improve, modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services or any content or information through the Services, at any time. We shall notify you of these changes by email or by making available the revised version of this Privacy Policy through or in connection with the Services. You can determine when we last changed this Privacy Policy by referring to the “Last Updated” legend above. If any future changes to this Privacy Policy are unacceptable to you or cause you to no longer be in compliance with this Privacy Policy, then you must immediately stop using the Services. Your access to or use of the Services following changes to this Privacy Policy shall constitute your acceptance of those changes and your consent to our use of your information consistent with this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any changes to this Privacy Policy shall not apply to any dispute between you and BestClass prior to the date on which we posted the revised version of this Privacy Policy incorporating such changes or otherwise notified you of such changes.


Information Collection
  1. User Account Information: When you create a user account on BestClass, you provide certain “Personally Identifiable Information” including, without limitation, your name, email and password. We collect this information to ensure that our community is an authentic and safe place for our users to interact. We do not rent or sell your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties.

    1. Public Profile Information: When you create a BestClass user account, we create a public profile page for you (the ,“Public Profile”), which includes your first name and last name. You have the option to select other items of personal information including, but not limited to, your profile picture, to be displayed in your Public Profile. You may review, change or remove your information through your account settings.

    2. Private Information: When you register for programs using BestClass Services, we will collect certain Personally Identifiable Information concerning you (the “Private Information”) in order to facilitate your participation in such programs. By using BestClass to register for programs, you consent to Private Information being shared with the applicable Provider upon confirmation of registration.

  2. Provider Account Information: When you create an account (each, a “Provider Account”) as a program provider (“Provider”) on the BestClass Site, you provide information which will be used to contact and identify you and your business as follows:

    1. Provider Profile Page: We create a public profile page for each Provider (each, a “Provider Profile Page”) to display pertinent information about each Provider to BestClass users. The Provider Profile Page includes, without limitation, the following information about the Provider: (A) registered business name; (B) complete business address; (C) business telephone number; (D) business website (if present); and (E) a description of program offerings.

    2. Administrative Information: We collect certain information which our staff uses to facilitate administrative matters related to your Provider Account including, without limitation, the following information: (A) the name of a designated contact person; (B) a phone number for such Provider point of contact; and (C) an email address for the Provider point of contact.

    3. As a Provider, when you enable registration for your programs through our Services, BestClass may request additional information, including, but not limited to, Federal Tax ID and digital tokens for facilitating secure connections.

  3. If you fill out a form or write to us directly, then we will collect any information that is contained in your form or message, which will include your email address and other information that you include.

  4. When you interact with the Services, our servers may automatically record certain so-called “log data” that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. Log data is a form of Non-Identifying Information. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s IP (Internet Protocol) address, your mobile device identifier, the geographic location of the IP address you are using to access the Internet, your browser type, your operating system (including whether you are connecting via a mobile device), the time of day of your access, your general physical location or your more specific location if you are connecting through your mobile device, your pattern of activity on the website and possibly, the website that you visited immediately prior to or after BestClass. This data helps us better understand how our users interact with our Site and allows us to improve and develop the quality of online experience for all our users.


Use of Information
  1. BestClass may use your Personal Information, occasionally together with your Non-Identifying Information, as follows:

    1. To help you open an account on the Site, including verifying your information to ensure its accuracy and validity;

    2. To fulfill your requests (e.g., to allow you to register for programs offered by Providers or to provide you with information that you request)

    3. To offer personalized content through our Site (e.g., when a spot opens up in programs that you are waitlisted for or to send you reminders if you miss a session or two).

    4. To send you important information regarding the Site, such as certain changes to our terms, conditions, policies and/or other administrative information. Because this information may be material to your use of the Site, you may not opt out of receiving such communications;

    5. For internal business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, developing new products, enhancing our website, improving our services and identifying usage trends

    6. For purposes disclosed at the time you provide your Personal Information or as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.

  2. Log Data is used to monitor and analyze use of the Services, to determine the composition of and engage our user base, to analyze usage patterns, and to serve advertising that we determine is relevant to our users and their interests. We may use your e-mail or message address or other contact information that you provide to inform you about developments to our Services, and to send you newsletters or promotional e-mails about featured offerings and exclusive discounts from BestClass and other providers, subject to your explicit consent to receiving such promotional offers.

  3. BestClass will share your Personally Identifying Information with Providers who offer programs which you are registered for. The purpose of sharing is to facilitate your participation in registered programs, and to contact you in case of schedule changes or program cancellations.

  4. As used herein, “Non-Identifying Information” means information that does not permit the identification of an individual person, such as age, or sex.


Editing or Deleting your Information

If you want to review, update, or correct the Personal Information you have provided to us, then you may do so by logging into your BestClass account and modify your information as needed. Additionally, you may request that your account be deleted entirely. If in case, you are registered for an upcoming or in-progress program, then you may delete your account after all such programs have ended If you need any assistance in doing so, you may email us at support@bestclass.co. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to your request within 30 days and to honor your request. We may, however, retain an archived copy of your records and information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as accounting and taxes related to your program registrations. When you receive newsletters or promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further communications from us and you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions provided in the e-mail you receive. We may, however, still send you administrative e-mails regarding the Services.


Phishing

Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to BestClass. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority of BestClass. BestClass does not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information your BestClass account name, password, or Personal Information in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. Cookies and Web Beacons

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit certain websites. They are used by web developers to help users navigate their websites efficiently and perform certain functions. We, or associated advertisers, may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain for a certain period of time unless deleted) to collect certain Non-Identifying Information so that we may deliver to you content, including advertising content, we think may be of interest to you; to remember choices you make in order to improve user experience; and for analytics purposes, to monitor usage of our website, to reengage users through marketing efforts, and improve user experience. We may collect information using Web beacons. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used on our Services or in our emails. We use Web beacons, for example, to deliver cookies, understand your usage and our campaigns and identify if you open and interact with an email. We may collect this information through third party tracking services like Google Analytics. You may instruct your browser, by changing its options, to refuse all cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, then you may not be able to use all aspects of the Site or all functionalities of the Services. Instructions to remove persistent cookies can be found through your Internet browser.


Information Sharing
  1. Public Profile: Any information, that you make part of your “Public Profile" on our Site or Services, will be visible to other visitors and/or users of the Site or Services, as applicable, and may also be discoverable via search engines. BestClass recommends that you carefully choose how much information you would like to share with other BestClass users. You can review, update or delete what you share publiclyby logging into your BestClass account dashboard.

  2. Private Information: Any Personally Identifiable Information collected pursuant to 4(a)(ii) above is visible only to you and to Providers whose programs you are registered for. Personally Identifiable Information saved in your BestClass account is not visible to other BestClass users or in search engines results. You can review, update or delete what you share publicly by logging into your BestClass account dashboard.

  3. Personal Information: If you enter any information (including Personally Identifiable Information and/or Private Information), into postings, blogs, articles or comments on our Site or Services, then this information will be visible to other BestClass users and may be discoverable through search engines.

  4. Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information: We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and log data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, marketing, and other purposes relating to our Services.

  5. Service Providers: We may work with third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide parts of the Services on our behalf, to perform support services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. If these third parties have access to your Personal Information, then it will be only to perform these tasks on our behalf and they will be obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  6. Program Providers: Are required to keep participant information confidential, except as strictly necessary to deliver their services and communicate with participants. Program providers should not request personal information that isn’t necessary to provide their services or to communicate with you. Contact us at support@bestclass.co if you receive a request for information that seems inappropriate or excessive.

  7. Business Transfers: If BestClass or the assets of BestClass are acquired by another company, then we may transfer your information in connection with that acquisition or sale and the acquiring company will possess the information (including your Personal Information) collected by us and it will assume the rights and obligations described in this Privacy Policy.

  8. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement: We will access and disclose your Personal Information to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with relevant laws, to respond to valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order, to protect the property and rights of BestClass or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person (including you), or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable.

  9. Retaining Information: Unless there is a specific legal or regulatory requirement for us to keep information, we will retain it for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or for which it is to be further processed.

  10. For the avoidance of doubt, BestClass does not sell or rent your Personal Information or Private Information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Information Collection and Storage

BestClass is located in the United States. Accordingly, Personal Information we collect may be transferred to and stored in our servers or those of third parties that act on our behalf (such as hosting providers) in the United States.


Information Security

You should be aware that while we follow industry standard practices to protect the data we collect and maintain, including the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt information as it travels over the internet. No method of transmission or over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so BestClass cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your account information is protected by a password, which you should choose carefully and keep secure.

We have a Critical Incidence Response Team (CIRT) and protocol in place in the event of a data breach. We encourage the responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities of our services by emailing security@bestclass.co and we will invite valid disclosures to our bug bounty program.


Children and Minors

Children under the age of sixteen (16) are not eligible to create an account on their own, on BestClass. We are not responsible for misrepresentation of age while creating a user account. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Private Information or Personal Information without his or her consent, then he or she should disable such child[ren]’s account(s). Please be aware that such removed information may still be located in archives and could be available in response to valid legal process.


Third Party Websites, Merchants Services and Applications

Our provision within the Services of mentions, links or referrals to other websites, services, merchants or applications is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other websites, services, merchants or applications or their content or products. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for these outside websites or their content or products. This Privacy Policy does not govern your visit to these other websites, and your access and any purchases you make are entirely at your own risk. These other websites, services, merchants and applications may set their own cookies on users, collect data, and solicit personal or financial information from you. You should refer to any terms of service and privacy policies found on such other websites, services, merchants and applications to understand how your information may be collected and used.


Disclaimer

If you choose to access the Site, you do so at your own risk, and are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. We may limit the availability of the Site, in whole or in part, to any person, geographic area and/or jurisdiction we choose, at any time and in our sole discretion. By using the Site and submitting any Personal Information, you consent to the transfer of Personal Information to other countries, which may provide a different level of data security than your country of residence provides.
